It's fairly simple: If you get cluwned in the Murderbox, you will find, on leaving VR, that your speech remains impaired; any attempt to talk will result in crazed laughing and cries of "HOOOOONK".
Reproduction is simple: As a live crewmember, enter VR and go to the Murderbox lobby. Become a wizard, purchase the Clown's Revenge spell, and cast it on yourself. Having done this, leave VR and try to talk.
