Arcade Feature: Strange Morale Dispensing Wheel
#1
It's that time again.

Time to reveal the secret recipe of King Readsterium to everybody?

Time to make the admins cry?

Nooo.  It's time to learn today's lesson, And to find out what that is, we turn to the wheel of morality!

Wheel starts to spin

Wheel of morality, turn turn turn.  Tell us the lesson that we should learn.  And the morale for today is...Number 5.

A piece of paper is printed from the wheel

...Often times, the only difference between a bad Sec Officer and a good Nuclear Operative is how quickly you get thrown out the air lock.

Wow.  I'm speechless.

Gotta admit.  It's pretty deep.

The wheel of morality is yet another idea I had that I thought would be a neat addition to the game, but can't think of anything past its initial idea to not make it basic plagiarism.  The wheel of morality would mainly be found in the arcade and would cost 100 credits to activate, at which point it will usually print a piece of paper with either a morale that doesn't make any real sense or legitimate pro tips new players may not know (Pro tip:You can carry three things at once!  One in your left hand, one in your right hand, and one you can drag.)

There is also a 1 in 10 chance that a player will "win" the wheel of morality, receiving 500 credits either in...er, credit or via their card, depending on how they paid.  The credits spent and won would affect the payroll budget.

There is also a 1 in 10 chance the player will "win" a cool and fun trip to the brig.  The player will immediately be set to arrest, have their minor criminal record state "Big Time Wheel Winner" (or something to that affect), and will be asked to wait for a sec officer to come by and escort them to their winning destination.  Sec officers will receive a PDA message stating the name of the "winner" and ask for them to arrest the player and to set their brig timer for 1 minute.  Officers can always simply de-arrest warrant the player if they have more important things to worry about.

Also, there could be a wheel in the public brig where prisoners could spin, learn stupid morales, and potentially win a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card, which would immediately unlock the Gen Pop locker and open the prisoner ejection chute.  In case the person is in for REALLY bad reasons and non-public brigs aren't an option, the Get Out Of Jail Free option can only happen if the timer for the brig is set.

put it into the brig.

deathrow prisoners get to spin it for a minuscule chance of freedom but mostly it just tells what their execution method will be.

an admin-only one could be similar but actually carries out the execution method.

another neat thing could have a secondary machine that requires the wheel to function. similar to the cloning machine that carries out the execution.
