Control units cannot be removed from backpacks

As the title says, you can put a control unit into a backpack but you cannot remove it.

You mean electro pack construction object that you use for making electric chairs? That should probsbly not even be allowed in a backpack to begin with.

I've run into this bug a few times and its quite annoying. Control units are impossible to remove from backpacks from what I can tell.

Possible Workaround: Can you remove it by click-draging the backpack to the floor and dumping the contents?

Click-dragging onto the floor does indeed remove the unit from the backpack, and game counts it as being deployed. Same happens with boxes too.
