Constructed mining magnet does not function

went to the mining magnet at the mining outpost on altas, constructed the magnet there on the chassis. Then attempted to activate the magnet, which was detected by the computer, and got this message; "Uh oh, something's gotten really fucked up with the magnet system. Please report this to a coder!"

You can kind of work around this by toggling automatic mode and flipping cooldown override.
