Fire Fighting Bots in engineering
#1
I've been playing 1 a lot lately.

I've noticed engineers tend to make hellburns in 1.

I've noticed engineers tend to be unable to make hellburns in 1 without losing control of the engine.

I've brigged a lot of engineers for failure to do their basic job.

Anywho, maybe stuff a fire bot or two around the engine room?  It might not necessarily stop it but it will at least help me feel better knowing I'm not the only person trying to stop a fire that'll kill everyone if left alone.  Constantly.

That would be helpful for when I get back and try to actually learn engineering , might make my death take a few more minutes

I feel like Firebots would have to output actual firefighting foam again, since water would just instantly boil off at the kind of temperatures the engine gets to.

Also change it to foam yes.

I'm amazed that hasn't been done yet. It would make sense since the robot's main ingredient is a Fire Extinguisher.

the firebot works in a really unintuitive way, it's on my cutting board but it's gonna take a minute

It definitely used to use firefighting foam.

it still does, actually.
thats why ive been scratching my head about it.
it doesnt disperse it the same way as an extinguisher

Im absolutely sure they use water, because they leave pools of water behind.
Also its way less effective then I expect it to be, since you can spash a beaker of water on yourself to fully extinguish instantly.
