Minor Cloning a ling player who gives away control

Had a game today where we got most of medbay to get scanned in the cloner. Turned out that one of the players was a ling. Later on in the round I did a roll call and only one person answered so I thought Ill go through the cloner in case someone is dead. I cloned a player and when he was finished it turned out he had been a changeling and alive. He handed over control to someone and during that time I cloned him.
