Add a secondary system that reduces the tedium of laying down wire to connect geothermal to the station.

There is a human-based 'cable laying mode' where you click the cable coil inhand to auto-place it as you move. Although more construction-based pod modules such as this are not a bad idea!

Same as above. Something to make going diagonally not take up twice the cables would be pretty cool though.
