The War Crimes of Station Design

Hello I'm starting this thread so I can upload screenshots and files related to my mapping. 
I'm still very much in a learning process, so any feedback possible is greatly appreciated, constructive or otherwise. 
Also my current project is intended to be a somewhat obtusely-laid-out map, but not a frustrating one- so yes the clown hole is next to the combustion chamber, but no it's not supposed to be difficult to start the engine. 

 Also please, if you have secret vendettas against fun layout ideas for certain departments, awkward neighbors, dangerous maintenance setups, etc, feel free to suggest.

I could have fun with that pool heater! Also im trying to guess what that air injector/vent component is for at the north part of the cold loop in that little room? Wouldnt you want that to vent straight into space? Not trying to ask for engineering secrets if its for something special!

it's actually something I don't know if it would have a use or not.
I figure it could act like the old atmos storage rooms, purge your cold loop into this space temporarilly and repressurise when you want to.
or make bombs, whatever.

Well done! I keep thinking id like to get into mapping but seeing updates like this scratches that itch temporarily haha. Any though to adding a combustion pump computer? I personally vastly prefer those for setting specific KPA etc.

Yep! gonna move a couple things around in the burn chamber area, probably isolate it just a bit more, and add the mixer pump and computer. 
Gotta also make room for the clown spawn right next to the chamber, of course.

Update for today. Managed to get the power grid to work, at least somewhat. Placeholder medbay stuff. 
pool-boiler works well. boils the pool.

I really like how spacious Robotics is! Also looking forward to all of the drunk doctors. Drunker than normal I mean. That PTL placement is... inspired big grin
