Could the zombies be seeing him as an eatable NPC (like a monkey) instead of a bee?

I believe we already have a zombee - I think it's the one that wears an itsy bitsy obsidian crown. Though I've only ever seen it once...it was hanging out with the AI

There is another type of bee that looks kind of green and drools and that's your zombee.
