Possible bug with stuns?

In this last game someone hit me over the head with a plate

You begin to recover.
Numb Man shakes Numb Man trying to wake Numb Man up!
Rickie Basinger  [145.9] says, "Yeah that'd be great I just need to get out of deep space."
Mike Hunt says, "Seriously, fuck off. I got that saber off the ground."
You begin to recover.
Bajirao Singham  [145.9] says, "its set"
Medibot - 'Head Surgeon' beeps, "Don't worry, I'm trained for this!"
Medibot - 'Head Surgeon' points at Victor Mangostein!
Mike Hunt asks, "You do realise there is a wizard?"

And I could never get up. I was not in rest mode but I kept getting "you begin to recover" over and over and couldn't get up until finally a wizard killed me. This is the second game today where this happened. If this is a bug please fix it.

Well, based on what I am reading, you are silly. Now, I could be wrong, but I swear, you CANNOT get up from an operating table, as your log clearly shows you are on. Next time, please put this in the "Bugs" board.

don't tell anyone, but you totally can stand up while you're on the operating table, grab that jerk roboticist, put HIM on the table while it still looks like you're laying down, and take his butt.

though this is the wrong forum, it still looks like he might have had some sort of bug produced by being lain on a table while still stunned from having a plate smashed over his head. he did say he was sure he wasn't in rest mode and that it lasted forever.

This is probably related to that thing where being stunned while going through disposals can make it so that you'll never be able to get up on your own, instead just recovering forever. I also ran into that glitch by clicking rest while unconscious. I was never able to get up again, even if I clicked stand.
