Martian diplomats can neither wear masks (ie. breathing masks) or carry oxytanks very well.

I think life as a martian is already hard enough with all the other things they can't wear, so I think maybe adding anaerobic metabolism to the martian mutant race wouldn't be too unreasonable.

Yeah this is a huge drawback about being a Martian diplomat. The other thing is no shoes, which means broken glass knocks you down, which makes no sense as Martians float or something. Can they get some approximation of shoes as well to stop that?
