Didn't want to hijack another thread so here we go

AI shells can't wear hats
Let 'em

Securitrons too


Hell, why not all the bots.  It'd be adorable and there'd be more hats on things, so it's a win-win.

Yesss! Though Beepsky and Ol' Harner already have hats, so they should be irremovable. Also bedsheets.

You CAN buy them though. Given how crazy a mass buddy rampage is at the moment, I'd rather they'd not be craftable.
