Crusader Station 13
#1
Since I have spare time and I'm a nerd so I decided to mod SS13. There are five core components to CK2, map, culture, religion, dynasty. If you want to shamefully self-implant yourself into the mod, I need you to simply fill out this form

Dynasty:
exp.
Code:
1 = {
    name="Cogwerks" //last name
    culture = poo //Still not figured out yet

What I am thinking with the dynasty names is that they're named after players with the title count>duke>king>emperor system being something that I'm not sure yet, pitch ideas on how to make it sound good (A persons name would go like "(title) (random first name) (I/II/III/IV/etc) the '(nickname)'

Example: "Hank II the Robust"

Religion

Honestly I don't know what I should do for this, pitch ideas, maybe this should be jobs and culture something else/

Map

WIP. Could take weeks, I'll get a rough map out as fast as possible.

Culture

Perhaps this should be jobs?

Right now, I just need ideas and dynasty names to feed into the code, if this post is incoherent, sorry!

I would have said this is the most nerdiest thing ever seen on the forums, but someone posted a thread talking about how they played dungeons and dragons in ss13, so I'll help with this.

Count: Cluwne

Duke: Pubbie

King: Clown

Emperor: Owl

Cultures would named after the jobs, so:

Staff Assistant

Engineer

So on and so forth.

The portraits would be images of monsters and demons.

Religion could be named after a corparations, so Nanotransen and Syndicates? Maybe some gang names to, like GOKU HUSTLERS, and CAT DADS,

My name would be: Owl Rube Potter "The strong", culture: HoS religion: nanotransen

Come on, there has to be a clown prince somewhere there as heir apparent!

Since my name is Charles IRL I guess I would choose King...

King Hard Boiled "The Honkable"

His Culture would be of Imperial Jester/Clown...

His Holy Religion would have to be somewhat game related, huh?

The Royal Order of The Peel

I guess that sounds good. If in fact that is what you are asking for... :?

could i be Punchlord Vaughn IV the 'Buttheaded'? religion, boxing. culture, roboticist.

also that example in code is confusing. you should do a flat template(no parameters replaced) and THEN follow it with an example.

Culture name: aracı erkekler ( roughly turkish for "Tool Men.") perhaps the engineers?

Culture name: deus histriones ( roughly translates to "God Players.") the science department perhaps?

Culture name: homines, qui iuuare mortales ( roughly translates to "Men Who Help Men.") medical staff?

god i'm a nerd... :ugeek:

This mod sounds pretty interesting.

I'd love to see how you manage to translate the AI to this; maybe it's a decrepid old wizard keeping watch in his tower?

Also imagine the in-game chat.

Sir Pubbsworth Shitlordington says; "BY GOD SEND THE GUARDS, THERE'S A MAN IN YE FIELDS THROWING DEFECATION AT THE WINDOWS OF THE HOLY HOUSE!"

The AI is the Pope. The Pope also is the character which handles all the maintenance and behind-the-scenes events in CKII.

Perhaps bridge could be a castle and the rest of the station a small village? Combine chapel with medbay and call it a Hospice. Make the crew quarters into an inn. Security into a barracks, etc. Also horses instead of segways.

Code:
1 = {
    name="Hill"
    culture = praefector
}
2 = {
    name="Potter"
    culture = securitatem
}
3 = {
    name="Loblaw"
    culture = adjutor
}
4 = {
    name="Wolff"
    culture = Ingeniarius
}
5 = {
    name="Swag"
    culture = securitatem
}
6 = {
    name="Boiled"
    culture = scurra
}
7 = {
    name="Gopher"
    culture = curratores
}
8 = {
    name="Cox"
    culture = medicus
}
9 = {
    name="Mansachs"
    culture = probator
}
10 = {
    name="Taggart"
    culture = probator
}
11 = {
    name="Shitlordington"
    culture = adjutor

Here's aprox. 1/4th of the names/cultures I have in, for cultures, translate

Captain praefector
Security securitatem
Assistant adjutor
Clown scurra
Doctor medicus
Engineer ingeniarius
Scientist probator
