Coloring machine

Markers, crayons, mugs-- these are a few (or maybe all) of the currently random color-enabled items, with the potential for more (like flares and glowsticks) on the way, but they aren't always the color you'd like. What if there was a machine that allowed you to place a colorable object inside and re-color it? It could use the same interface as the hair dye machine, possibly a similar sprite-- maybe run off of an internal reservoir of colorful reagent or paint, and would be placed in the crew lounge or art storage. It'd go especially well with white outfits so you can get ~fancy~ with it and really make your style shine.

Upgrading or hacking it could allow coloration of other objects, and a certain wire being cut could cause it to go haywire and dye the inserted object randomly instead of what you asked for.

I mean there is the paint dispenser already. It can do all of the hex colors.

I thought that thing was busted, though. And last time I fixed it, it exploded.

Doesn't the paint machine spit out buckets of the color of your choice when fixed?

How about making it where you can stick things in to recolor them when it's broke (with the chance that it splashes paint on you when used) and fixing it repairs it to full functionality?

I'm not sure if it's just my luck, but I've never had it explode on me when I was wearing a certain item.
