When someone bursts all the lights in medbay, it heats up all the chems in the room to deadly levels of heat sometimes. I believe this is directly related to the sparks that appear.

Very recently I got teleportitis as a clown, and the sparks from teleporting onto a nearby burrito made it hot enough to sent me into crit just from eating one.

When I was working on a hellburn, I had the porta nanomed with me because the area was so warm. I ended up getting damaged from the heat despite being in a heavy duty firesuit so I dispensed some burn patches
