Glass shard oddities

Glass shards can no longer be melted down into sheets with a welding torch. Additionally, if a glass shard is placed into a recycler, it'll spit out a glass cube which can then be inserted into a general manufacturer to add 10 units of glass, meaning that you could have infinite glass so long as you're willing to build new windows and smash them down.

But really, the biggest issue is that I couldn't make a pod out of torn-down walls and windows after someone stole all the raw materials. :P
