Fun idea for creating SS13 MUGEN fighters for SaltyBet
#1
First off, if no one knows what ANYTHING means in the title let me explain.

MUGEN is a fully customizable, modifiable, community driven 2D Fighting game engine. Like old school street fighter. People make custom characters, stages, settings, etc for MUGEN and upload it to the internet to download and use for their game. It's entirely free and you can make pretty much any type of character you want as long as you got the skills to do so.

Saltybet.com is a website that runs a MUGEN game engine 24/7 all day, every day. With thousands of characters randomly picked to fight each other. NPC vs NPC style. The characters are ranked on a tier system by how well they preform. The "bet" name comes in because while the game is streamed you can bet (with fake money) on which characters are going to win. These fights end up insane with things like Superman Vs Goku fights or Ronald McDonald fighting batman, etc.

I totally suggest watching some saltybet to get an idea of the fighters.

So my idea is, we got coders, sprite artists. Why not get together and make a few SS13 characters and find a way to suggest to salty bet to add them into their engine?

my three fighter ideas is:

The Clown (named SS13 Clown)
it would have a basic attack set, make clown noises while moving and punched
Think of all sorts of ss13 clown gimmicks would be fun as attack moves. Throwing pies., bananas. Maybe have a monkey the clown can have attack the enemy.

SS13 Syndicate Traitor (Wearing a syndicate spacesuit)
His main attack weapon isn't fists, He should use a C-saber as his main attack set.
Special attacks would be like a revolver, rad bow, shotgun, grenades.etc
his super attack should either be calls in a X Drone that blows out the stage. Or he calls down a syndicate satellite like the remove in the biodome graveyard.
One hit KO attack could be the traitor pulling out His Grace, and if the other fighter is facing

SS13 Staff Assistant
regular punching and kicking attacks
Special attacks are throwable or melee items.Random shit a greysuit would have on him to fight people off. (toolboxes, fire extinguishers, shards of glass etc)
Super attack should be called the greytide. and it floods the stage with a WHOLE LOT of different greysuits attacking the opponent

So tell me what you think? Brain storm a bit. I think it would be fun to get this out there.

Botantist:
Regular punches and kicks.
Specials would be chainsaws, mutated plants with various effects, and rainbow melons, etc.
Super would be a WAVE OF BEES decimates the other player.

Jay Wolff.

Says 'its me' and fills his opponent with a creeping sense of dread.

That's all he does

He has one move which is pulling a disposals chute out of his pocket and beheading himself.

Does his special cause his opponent to sigh so hard that they die?

Shitcurity

Jabs and swings his stun baton in drunken fury, but also has a few tricks up his sleeve including blinding his foe with a flash, blasting them with a trusty tazer, and crashing into them with a security segway. His Super Attack is summoning Beepsky for a LEVEL 10 INFRACTION ALERT

Janitor

Wields a mop like a bo staff and can cause his opponent to trip using cleaner grenades and his water bucket. The Janitor can also spray people in the eyes with his spray bottle full of hydrochloric acid that he got from Chemistry. For his Super Attack The Janitor loads his floor buffer with Space Lube and causes the opponent to fly around like a rubber ball dealing BRUTAL AMOUNTS OF DAMAGE. Alternatively The Janitor can just clean the floor next to an airlock causing the opponent to space themselves.

HoP
The HoP disappears before the fight and dies in the Asteroid Belt.

A scientist fighter that wields scary syringes, and poison-filled spray bottles and fire extinguishers would be fun. Some ideas for special attacks include creating a parrot to angrily fly at the opponent, splashing cryostylane on the opponent to freeze them, lobbing CLF3 bombs, and possibly a hyper attack in which initrobeedril is injected into the enemy.

Also a geneticist with laser eyes, telekinesis, fire breath, and specials such as hulk strength and matter eater would be radical.

Geneticist's Super Attack is screeching 'GET OUUUUUTTTTTTTTT' and making the opponent's ears bleed

The martian in SS13 is based on Metal Slug's martians. Funfact, octopus like things are apparently Japan's version of a "generic" alien, akin to how the west's "generic" alien is a little green or grey man.
