Blob tiles and clothes

Today I learned that Chunks of Blob can be used as a material. I also learned that tiles made from blob don't make people standing on them bounce, and shoes made from blob also don't do this. This needs to be fixed, and the code is there, thanks to Moon Shoes or the Jumpy mutation, either.

But just how rubbery IS blob, anyway? Is it Flubber or is it like silicon gel? I don't think falling onto my wrist rest would make me rebound.

Well if it's not meant to be bouncy, it's meant to be more like silicon gel, then it should slow you to walk over tiles of it, and maybe clothes made from it give slight brute damage resistance?

I agree. Make blob clothes more useful than decoration. It's not like you can find it easely every rounds.

You can actually smelt chunks of blob with metal, so that's how you get your resistance.

While we're at it you need to allow blobs to wear clothes. Because that's what I thought this thread was about.
