This boils down to how crit was changed from instant death to a gradual decline into death instead, and I think it's hilarious that someone can slit their own throat multiple times. Making that not possible is anti-fun.

It's possible to slit your throat and then quickly hop into a cryo tube and heal to full while making horrible noises at people!

I think it's fine. I mean, if I want to go fast out fast I use a revolver, a bible, a crusher, or a hoot. Otherwise I want it to last a long time. That way I can scream for longer, you see. I would be sad if I couldn't flood medbay with so much blood that I literally run dry.
