Black Screen on Left, White screen on White

I'm trying to set up ss13 on my bro's netbook thing. It used to run it fine before v500 but now i'm trying to troubleshoot why it isn't working anymore.

For reference, cowrp works just fine on his computer.

His computer is running Windows 7 Starter (32bit)
CPU: Intel Atom CPU N455 @ 1.66GHZ
Ram: 1GB
Graphics: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver (no dedicated card?)

I'm not sure what exactly is the problem, but here's what it looks like:

I found the problem. I am so ashamed that i dare not repeat the solution here. I am an idiot.
