The mental image this brings is a spaceman sucking up food off of a table entirely through their own lung power like some sort of freakish vacuum monster. (*VRRRRRR-SHOOP-CRUNCHCRUNCH-BURP*)

Also the matter eater genetic mutation fills this niche well enough and it feels pretty unnecessary on its own. I suppose it'd be kind of nice for flavor (hah) but it doesn't contribute a whole lot.
