CARL - won't buy gold bars?

Anyway, I was trying to sell a few gold bars to Carl, and he would spout out either "Invalid input" or "I am not interested in this item", even though it says, that he buys gold bars.



He wasn't angry, he was just rejecting the bars, is this a specific gold bar I need or is it a bug?

Quality modifier might've messed with it... or arc smelting it invalidated it somehow? Traders need a bit of an overhaul but from what I get its a coding nightmare

Yes currently only gold bars from safes work with traders and QM.
QM also won't get money for materials processed with the reclaimer.
Go raw or go poor.
