Change sprite/sound for detective's stun bullets
#1
The idea is just to change the detective's stun bullets to look and sound more like tasers or the energy gun. Whenever I try to stun people, everyone nearby assumes I'm a traitor and tries to kill me.

I just got killed by a traitor I was about to handcuff when a random geneticist started punching me and yelling that I was killing the guy, so I may be a bit biased by recent experiences.

I know the detective and sec are supposed to be separate roles, with the detective being less effective at arresting people, but he's often the only security. I am also aware of getting extra access from the HoP or Captain to get tasers, if this intentional, but I figured it was worth checking in case it isn't.

Also, as far as anyone I've asked knows, their is still no way to unload the detective's gun, though this is mitigated by the sec vendors giving out ammo.

Thanks for reading this, I'm enjoying SS13 immensely, usually more so when things go wrong.

This is a good idea.

Remove stun bullets in my opinion but really changing the sound of the bullets when stun would be a good idea. Some people don't notice that stun bullets don't cause bleeding and just assume you are unloading on some poor fool. People hate the detective when he uses his gun for some reason.

You do know the traitor items are purposefully so close to some other non-traitor item (tactical vs. jazzy turtleneck anyone?).

Just make it clear in the red text that it is a stunning projectile???

I think this is the best route

Do you mean the traitor .38? I don't think this change would affect them at all, since a non-detective using a .38 is going to be suspicious whether they're lethal bullets or not.

I think he means the traitor detective's AP rounds.
