A few new mechanics components.
#1
I thought up a couple of components to add to mechanics for the purpose of having fun / being an asshole. I have a couple more I plan to add to this list in the future as well. They do have a bit of a darker color scheme as their meant to be placed on tables more so than put on floors.

[Image: EkA0zra.png]Hand Scanner[Image: 6BIKKrO.gif]
Configuration: Output Fingerprint / Identity
Purpose: When someone uses an empty hand on it, it'll scan the hand and output the either the fingerprint or name of what it scans. If the person is wearing gloves it'll output the name of the gloves instead.

[Image: 18tG3YA.png]Thermal Printer[Image: Y6TbHE0.gif]
Purpose: When it receives a signal, it will print that signal onto a small piece of paper similar to the fortune paper Zoldorf prints off.
It uses thermochromic paper so it doesn't need toner or ink (the paper reel is also really big).

[Image: 5mZESbr.png]Paper Scanner[Image: GjvmvDM.gif]
Configuration: Toggle Disposal, Allow Only Thermal Paper
Purpose: When someone uses a piece of paper on it, it'll scan the paper and output the contents. If disposal is toggled to true, the scanner will delete the paper as well, this is to make consumable tickets. If the machine is not set to only allow thermal paper then people can just copy and paste the contents of these tickets with pen and paper.

Can you add a components similar to the security floor flushersin the buildable componets thingto the whole deal? I would love to make it so the mechanics door only opens to my hand and flushes everyone else who uses it to the crusher or somewhere like that

Have OR operators for Regular Expression ever been fixed? I'm waiting for the day where my dreams a voice-activated teleporter system can be made without a backpack full of signal checkers.

Hint: Use a selection component with your voice setup connected into the "select item" input.

I'm glad these components have been added into the game. The hand scanner in particular is really boss for secure "doors" made with graviton accelerators and pressure plates. Getting the pressure plates to toggle was awful, though.

I figured out a solution - button > toggle component with settings of 0 and 1 > selection component and pressure plate > selection component > signal check component > accelerator. Really convoluted but it works great.

Keyboard:
When you click on it it will show up a chat box to enter something, then it outputs that something to other components.

Chooser:
When you click on it it brings up a list of things to output. The person who placed it would be able to add things to the list. Also possibly you could make it so that you can make it display different things than what it outputs.
Rightclick options (Besides the ones normally in components):
[Add Option]:
A textbox appears saying "Enter display test:" then a textbox appears saying "Enter output string:".
[Remove Option]:
A list appears showing all of the options, clicking on one removes it.
