As the Derelict and Mining maps are now public on goonhub, I've updated the Telescience Manager with them.

I love Telescience, but I'm stupid and dunno how to run the 7z file. Windows XP.

7zip:
http://www.7-zip.org/ Click the download link that applies (32bit or 64bit shouldn't matter)
.7z is basically like a zip file, except not.
Just open the 7z file in 7zip, select all the files in it, then click extract.

Tools enabling bold new levels of griff are being forged, gentlemen. Soon .txt notes will be irrelevant to the well equipped spaceman.

You've given us so much already, but how about a little help understanding your extrapolation method?

The basic usage of the extrapolation method is finding the minimal X/Y coordinate that is correct (i.e. doesn't give you 'Incorrect coordinate), inputting that, and checking the maximum valid coordinate. Remember that the minimum valid coordinate can be a fraction (.0, .25, .5, .75).
If you checked both the min and max correctly, the program will give you valid calibration constants, without the use of a GPS or other methods not available to the AI and/or borgs.
How exactly it works under the hood is something I want to write a longer explanation on, but it requires
, so it's progressing slowly.

I love it! Quick question though, is there an option to turn on the reaction messages or is it supposed to be automatically turned on? Cause' I don't see them.

They are displayed if they are present in the recipe list. Currently only a couple of them have the reaction message filled in.
Feel free to note other reacion messages and share them. I will gladly add them to the recipe lists.
Also the ChemMaster descriptions would be useful, as right now also only a couple of reagents have them in the lists.

I keep pointing people back toward this thread to get this when they're hassling me to divulge the secrets of telesci but for some reason they can never find it. Either everyone is really dumb or this thread's on, like, stealth mode or some shit.
Probably the former.

Updated the recipe lists with the new temperatures, some new reaction messages and some clarifications. Credit goes to Convair880 for that.

Thanks to the valiant efforts of Convair880, there is now a complete food recipe list (also some tag/note fixes for some objects).
As always, grab the files from the usual place.
EDIT: Also added some recipes courtesy of Fox McCloud.
