Space Kudzu spreads on catwalk surfaces

As per the title. I logged in late for a round on Gibbed 1, and a ghost commented on the kudzu in space. I then found it, and it was only spreading across the catwalks - and in one case, the hull plating underneath the communications dish.

This is either a bug, or a weirdly specific feature.

Thats always happened. I always see the kudzu when it gets outta control on the cat walks in the middle.

I think the idea was the lack of pressure and air to feed it. Maybe not?
