So you're a wizard, harry. You've got fireballs and magic spells out the ass for full on rampaging. But what of the more subtle arcane arts? Such as scrying! A crystal ball, when held in hand and used, lets you see through a magical, invisible eye that can fly around at will like a ghost... Beware though, a chaplain in the area completely blacks out the whole place and makes scrying impossible, trying to go into a darked out area that the chap has blessed with holy water or his presence causes you to fall over, also you're vulnerable while using the ball to being beaned over the back of the head by an assistant. The ghost eye dosn't have ghost vision though, which means you cannot see or hear through walls. Even if you do spot the captain in the bar, you might not see the chef with the bartenders shotgun lurking in the bar.
