You suicide law rogue AIs?
Wow.
No I never have and I never will. I think suicide laws are lazy. I meant I can see the idea being good for that with letting another person come and take over the AI.
...Okay no it will never be a good idea. You have the god damned freeform law. Just make them ignore the laws that are making them rogue with it. Why in the fuck if you have the ability to un-rogue them without killing them would you instead kill them?

But I didn't mean the freeform module. I meant what I was first quoting.

but I'm sure someone will think of something.
Would be a distraction and a clean memory wipe of the AI at least. Which pretty sounds good now that I think about it.
Sucks for the AI that was put out of the game, but they'll just have to deal with it. Probably be dead anyway.

I mean with the AI suicide being on the killswitch computer and if you can't get the freeform as it is usually gone when someone makes the AI rogue that you could killswitch it and then another person can become the AI. I never said anything about freeform.

Killswitching the AI detonates the core.
There will not be a new AI after that.

Okay, no, you said "Suicide lawing" the AI. That means using the freeform to give it a "Kill yourself" law. Killswitching isn't giving it a suicide law.

I meant killswitch. Like I said I've never given a suicide law or killswitched the borgs because I think that is lazy so I used the wrong words.

Fun fact: rampage laws will never, ever be as useful as misdirection laws. "Kill everyone who isn't me" often backfires terribly, while a law like "crimes aren't real, if you witness a crime, just ignore it" or "report all sorts of fake crimes happening everywhere" will keep the AI off your back AND alive. If it's cleverly written, they can get up to all sorts of mischief with a misdirection law too.

Exactly. I use to always give the AI a law that told it I could do no crimes and that I was always human whenever I was changeling or vamp. I love doing those laws. Kill everyone or only human laws are for late round spur of the moment stuff.
