It's time to vote on your favorite corruption/ion laws from the Goonstation Winter Seasonal Contest! We had a staggering 77 entries this time around, so you have tons and tons of laws to choose from.
Voting Procedures
Read these carefully, because they're a lot different this time around.
We had so entries that our forum's poll software can't actually handle it all. Because of this, instead of using a forum poll, you need to use this Google Form. You do not need to sign into your Google account, but you do need to enter your BYOND username (not your forum or Discord username) for your vote to count. I estimate it will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete it, maybe more, maybe less depending on how fast you read.
I've split up all 77 entries into 11 sections with 7 entries each, because I felt that it was preferable to a single question with 77 entries to choose from. This might look like a tournament bracket, but it's not. There are no semifinals or championships, just one single round of voting.
Some entries have notes, labeled "Studenterhue's note" and such, indicating potential issues with implementing some of these laws. (It's mostly things that are currently not supported, but are definitely possible. There's nothing disqualifying.) I've also proofread all the entries, fixing grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes (though it's possible I missed a few, since we have so many entries). If these ever made it in-game, these may get edited further--see "Winner Selection & Prizes".
You can vote for multiple entries. While we'll have ten winners, you don't have to pick your top ten. You can select one, five, seven, twenty, fifty, whatever. It's up to you!
The poll will close after 7 days. That means it ends around February 28, so the end of this month. Again, you vote using this form: https://forms.gle/MgPmyZobkUnY9z1c7.
Winner Selection & Prizes
The ten entries with the most votes will receive the prizes listed below. Yep, ten, not seven. Since this contest had huge turnout, I've upped the number of potential winners.
In addition, if there's a submission that doesn't make the top rankings, I may add it anyway as a honorable mention, if I or another admin think it's really good. The person who submitted them will get the participant rewards.
Questions & Feedback
If I got your entry wrong, or if there's an issue with the poll, don't be afraid to point it out in this thread. Same if you have some feedback on this contest's voting setup (I'm sure you do, because again, it is quite unusual, and we haven't done something like this before) or some more general feedback. If you haven't received your Fun Times medal yet, you can ask for it here as well.
Alternatively, if you're not comfortable using the forums or want something more private, you can also submit your feedback/concern/question through our Discord bot, Medical Assistant. Just open a DM with the bot and type ]report to make a report to the admin team.

- Their law will be added to the pool of potential laws for the law corruption event. If need be, I and the other admins may modify a law before it's added to the game. In addition to getting reworded for clarity, some laws may need additional clauses in order to have teeth, while others perhaps go too far and need some trimming. Ergo, what you see in the poll may differ somewhat from what makes it in-game.
- They receive the Too Cool medal. This lets people use the Discord "shelterbee" emote in-game (you use it via medal rewards, and it pulls up a picture of it above your character sprite, not in the chat) and in OOC chat (type "shelterbee", but replace those quotation marks with colons, like in many modern chat platforms.) Here is what shelterbee looks like:
