Why was the price of cat ears increased
#1
I didn't see any changelog mentioning a price change, and a similar item that can also hide headsets, headbands, still costs only 60 credits, but cat ears went from 150 credits to 300 credits. I wonder, what was the reasoning for the price change, and if there's any chance for it to be reverted?
Costing 150 meant you could buy it roundstart as a staff assistant, if the issue is the ability to hide headsets being too strong, then headbands price would also need a price increase, and even then, I don't see it as that big of a problem when you can just hide headsets in your pocket for the same effect.

I increased the cost because of space-inflation. I'm sure you understand.

Something something, we're just passing the costs onto the consumer.

They were intended to be out of reach of staff assistants at round start, but the ones in the clothing booth were undercosted because i didn't realize that the clothing booth was not the same thing as the clothing vendor.

The economy change this update was a part of was years ago, it was just missed until now

I see, thanks for the clarification, is there any reason as to why its intended to be unbuyable by staff assistants roundstart?

Certain popular items were adjusted a while back to be expensive enough to represent a significant choice in the first two paycycles; e.g., if you are going to buy cat ears in pay cycle 1, then you can't afford medical supplies out the vendor in pay cycle two.

It's also a light incentive to not staff assistant it up all the time; they're poor, and don't have access to all the fun stuff immediately without doing some money begging
