Synopsis: I recently posted a ban appeal, and I do not believe that it was handled appropriately. It was immediately dismissed, citing a guidance I was previously given in a feedback post advising me to not appeal again for a year, and I was effectively threatened with a forum ban and loss of appeal permission in addition to that.
Logs: The ban appeal in question: here
The admin feedback post with the aforementioned guidance: here (sorry, I'm not sure how to spoiler text here)
Extra information: Bilo's guidance on the feedback post seemed more like just that, guidance to me. It's very calmly worded, even stating that there's no set in stone protocol here. Were it intended as a hard ruling, that's not how I interpreted it, and I don't feel that it's appropriate to use it as a reason for blanket denial and dismissal without even engaging with my appeal. As for the appeal itself, I made it in good faith after having gotten some important things in my real life together and taking time to reflect, which I felt was more important than the guidance received, since it's directly addressing the ban itself and the reasons I behaved that way in the first place. I'd at the very least like a re-examination of my appeal beyond just a blanket dismissal, and some more clarity on Bilo's guidance, whether it was intended to be/will be enforced as a hard rule.
