Certain weapons have the tag "Chopping" this causes them to deal quadruple damage to doors and all windows, this list includes: crash axes, fireaxes, scrap machetes, breaching hammers, csabers and a few others you typically won't see in a round. Notably as far as I know they do not deal increased damage to grilles so your crash axe can break a reinforced window in 4 hits and it'll take about that 5 to get through the comparatively weaker grille underneath it. The window damage was added so that breaching weapons would be more useful in scenarios with windows but making them the exact same as anything else vs what is underneath every single window is a bit odd. This shouldn't impact balance at all, if you have wire cutters you can get through one in less than a second so I don't see how this'd be a problem.

hmmm, definitely worthwhile food for thought. When I added the window breaching I didn't add grille vulnerability on account of the considerable window-grille health gap (breaching tools that can break a window don't take too many more hits to break a grille) but for the sake of QoL I'll take a second look at things

I'm in agreement that I don't think this change would have any considerable balance problems to it. Could be fit in fairly seamlessly.

Not a bad idea. Alternatively, things that are blunt like bats might be better suited for smashing glass

Really like this suggestion, always found weird that my csaber would break a window in one hit but take like 3 to cut thru much weaker griles. Generally I just end up carrying wire cutters if I'm going for a breach thru windows gimmick.

Contrairy to media, glass is actually pretty tough to break with blunt force, so if anything adding a resistance to blunt would be my idea if it doesn't also have chipping stat
