This is the questionable ideas thread, not the good ideas thread. I'd like to actually see this added. Alternatively the ability for someone who's bald to shine a flashlight on their dome to give someone like 1 second of disorient or eye damage alongside the sound.

getting flashed by a bald person should give eye damage too, would be hilarious to be literally blinded by that if done enough times

Screws

Anything that needs a screwdriver now also needs screws; when unscrewing, they appear in your other hand. Keep hold of them cause you'll need them to rescrew that thing (things that use bolts like the AI Core do not require this, or maybe they do just to make it more annoying). Dropping the screws by any means causes them to disappear cause finding dropped screws is borderline fucking impossible god dammit where the hell did it go I saw it fall that way...

You can print more screws at the manufab

Dropped screws are technically still there and act like invisible broken glass, stepping on it without shoes hurts like hell

genetics has to store researched genes on diskettes similiar to cloning does with genes. you can only hold so many in your database of ~6 disks, so you have to choose which genes to keep and which ones to delete
