Ranching: Dolly
#1
Okay I understand that Dolly is a cherished member of the crew to anyone who isn't a Ranching main. I know that when I'm ranching its rough, especially on Nadir, to have a pen entirely dedicated to a feed gobbling sheep. Now I was thinking, what if we added some sort of different sheep breeds based off a feed system and find a way to integrate her more into ranching.

Ideas:

First and foremost RANCHING SHOULD START WITH A PET CARRIER AS THE CREW GETS SO MAD IF YOU HAVE TO "REMOVE" DOLLY BECAUSE SHE IS OCCUPYING A PEN. Also If someone comes in after you, and they want to make sweaters or something? Wouldn't it be better to have Dolly in a carrier than dead? Everyone's happier.

Dolly Gun (Traitor Item):
Shaped like animal carrier but with a barrel and a grip. The Carrier is sideways. You load a sheep into gun and fire it at people. The sheep then attacks everyone whose not you. Think the chicken grenade but for one sheep at a time.

Armored Dolly: So I was thinking what if sheeps could get armor instead of wool? So you would make the Knight/Armored chicken and turn its eggs into a feed to feed to dolly. This would turn their wool into a thick firm armor. Sheering her would produce either armored vests or the nanofiber substance that makes up the armored vests. In addition the Sheep made out of this wool would have super high endurance and would be really hard to kill. Not super strong with attack per say. Resistant to stabbing and bludgeon but maybe weak to fire?  Since it would require the Knight chicken this would make it the equivalent of a third generation chicken.

Material Dolly: This idea is centered around the same idea as the ore chicken but maybe just a bit more themed. So you sheer Dolly. Take the wool and in the nano-crucible you combine it with another substance and then turn it into a wool fitting that you slap back on the sheered sheep. They now start producing Wool combined with that material. This would just make wool fittings and scarves a bit more interesting.

Cow Dolly: This one is not that complicated really. Its more for the flavor. So you feed dolly cream feed and her next generations of sheeps would produce milk. I just feel like there should be a ranching alternative to the cargo ordering milk.

This has been my Dolly Post. I love Dolly.

Edit: Goat to sheep. All wool to me.

Yea I am honest.... I do think Dolly needs more use.

I'd be cool if...
Dolly being the special sheep it is.
A way to use it's wool in feed to "clone" curent chickens.

See a chicken with the evolution you want and don't want to wait for more? Use Dolly's wool to clone it.

Dolly should be cloneable.

With genetics being able to scan critters now and the name "Dolly" being an obvious reference to genetic research, I think it'd be cool if some of these effects were mutations. Since active unknown mutations can't be researched, I believe Dolly should become an exception to that.
