Chaplain's Divine Animal
#1
At the start the round the chaplain will have the option to choose to worship a divine animal as a "messenger" of the Gods.

When selected it will spawn ritual circle at the center of the chapel where you need to capture an animal or a mob to select as your Divine animal of your religion.

After getting them into the circle, and activating it. The animal will then "disappear" and reappear above the chapel in the form of a ghost version of the mob that will wander around the chapel. For now it will only be seen by the chaplain.

Complete request given by the animal often dictated by greedy request such as food, offerings, or bring people infront the animal to comment on then.

As you do this the icon of the mob slowly grows and starts growing until it materialize into a bigger version of the mob with a glow. It will also follow around the chaplain.

Nah I think the most hilarious thing is to trap a zombie into a crate, and then make it your holy animal!

ALL HAIL THE HOLY SCIENTIST ZOMBIE!

I do not see any point in this...

Usually a capable and experienced Chaplain wouldn't have too much trouble executing this idea with the tools already on hand.....

Building a viewing enclosure, with teleporters to dump the Holy (and unhappy) Beast inside.... Assuming the creature itself isn't unreasonably accessible it could be done within 10 minutes at round start fairly easily.

Totemic animist chaplain? I'm down, but I also think the trick here can be achieved pretty well by bothering cargo for some crated animals, finding a station animal, bothering the ranch, having a trait pet and just RPing the spiritual side of things. Not to say don't do this too, just that if the idea doesn't get implemented definitely consider pursuing this as a chaplain gimmick in general. All you'd need is a log you can carve totem animals/faces in.

For the quest side of stuff I feel like a lot like the ritual table: it ends up with lots of people not remotely interested in actually being a chaplain or interacting with others beelining for it. That's fine too, but doesn't seem to fit the flavour of what you're going for. But I could be wrong.
