Rizzularity Update
#1
Star
Every item sacrificed to the singularity has a very small % to change the singularity to a scaled version of that item. It would still function exactly the same as a singulo but now it looks funny!

Imagine the possibilities:
+ Spinning HoS spaghetti
+ Rotating rubber ducks
+ Turning toolboxes
+ Revolving Rocko
+ Twirling thinktapes
+ Whirling waffles
+ Gyrating grenades
+ Pirouetting pies
+ Birling batons
+ Circling clown masks
+ Disco balls
+ Treeby's wig (you aren't fooling anyone)

Bonus content: Someone suggested it'd be funny if certain items could alter singularities into making different noises (rubber ducks squeaking), altering behaviors (donuts traveling to security), or interaction animations (skulls opening/closing mouths when items are being absorbed).

Thanks for reading! Please comment if you have any ideas or concerns!

This would just confuse people imo

While funny, the singulo is -usually- restricted access. I'm already semi leery about the goofing around anglers fishing the AI core which seems to happen 90% of the time without permission (anecdotally, to me, your own mileage may vary) and also makes it so that people are fussing around with what is generally something that has the potential to severely impact the flow of the round. Either making their own singulos to farm items or doing a bit of B&E.

On the flipside, the idea is very funny. Why not make it the wormholes during the wormhole event? Little bit of randomness, a little bit more spontaneity.

The issue really is that this chance would have to be abysmally low given the amount of items that could be fed to the singularity per round. Not to mention that some strategies, like thermal paper printing, would just cause the singularity to end up looking like a giant piece of paper given the sheer amount of thermal paper going in, unless you blacklist specific items.

Your "bonus content" is a pretty funny idea imo. If the singularity ate a clown I want to hear a distorted squeak so I know it ate well. Kinda like a burp after eating
