Eh itll get better over time, although if it becomes to much of an issue maybe make them easier to remove

Make it so you don't need a deconstruction device to break mechscanned items. Make it so you can just smash them a bunch with a blunt object and they will fall apart.

They could do something arguably worse with station-bounced radios before this. It's new, it'll get boring soon.

Intercoms are scannable? Haha. I can just imagine the spam.
As Mordent said with the radios I use to turn on all the radios in the bridge radio box and lock myself into the crate and talk to the crew. Fucking spam central.
I'm assuming it's the same thing but intercoms?

isn't there already a rule against spam?
if people are abusing intercoms to spam the station why not just report them?

You can already print headsets and radios at a regular robotics fabricator.

I see no reason why intercoms are any worse than that

It's true they're harder to remove a station bounced radio but- they could just be turned off and I'm sure I can place any numbers of things far more annoying
There's no balance issue here, it's a new toy, individuals might need to be told to cut it out.

As for item destructibility- well damn yeah it should not be impossible to break things without a bomb or acid, that would be a nice rework
