Two hours.
It at least feels like it's been two hours. You're not sure how long it's been, to be honest. It's hard to keep track of time. The area has been nothing but pitch black darkness, and despite seeing the sky, the moon seems to have not moved at all.
...maybe 5 minutes...but it feels so much longer. It must have been much longer.
Sick to death seeing all of these dark, seemingly dead trees, and this fog. Unpleasant sights, but to get sick of them this bad in five minutes...it's impossible that it's been such a short time.
Where does this path lead to, anyways? It's been too long to remember why you took it in the first place, but it seems like a bad idea to go back. You can't quite explain why. If there is a path, it must go somewhere...
Is that something up ahead? It seems like a large building...poorly taken care of. Now that you think about it, you have been feeling tired...perhaps the people here would be nice enough to let you sleep for the night, give you some directions. The...three hours? The hours of walking has been taking its toll for some time. Anything is better than the ground outside.
-----
You're standing in front of a large, poorly maintained brick building. Every single window from this angle appears to be boarded up, except for the one immediately left of the door. The door is lit on each side by a candle. The entrance doors appear to have two handles each...no, one handle. The strange mouse heads appears to be purely for decoration.
To the left of the door appears to be a pinned paper. It has a silhouette of a cartoon mouse on it. It appears to be an advertisement.
Above the door are several letters arranged like a sign. It reads "Gregory House".
Your environment otherwise consist of dead trees, the path you came from, heavy fog and, now that you're taking a good look, several tombstones.........
