There isn't even a chute for it to feed to. It all ends up going to this spot.

On a related note, the disposal chute in the kitchen (I think? maybe its another disposals chute) ends up in a window in emergency storage.

Fixed. Looks like those were broken when the r-glass windows got changed to standard glass in a lot of places. I'll leave the thread open for now in case any similar cases pop up.
