Yes, one of the reasons fat was removed is because the sprites were so buggy, I don't think it's ever getting fixed.

A simple fix for this would be for when you are fat you rip the normal jumpsuits to shreds that you were wearing.
Have a few coloured (red,white,orange,black) jumpsuits in medical storage for fat people, and they can only fit fat people.
Then fix the sprites on any exosuit, if any exosuit sprite on a fat person needs fixing.
This way a fat sec officer/MD can wear red/white jumpsuit and still wear armor/overcoat.

You could add a whitelist of jumpsuits that have sprites for fat, set up so that anything not on the whitelist is "ripped apart".
