How is this not a thing yet? 
Here's how I propose these work for maximum immersion. Spoiler!

Obviously you cant stand in one of these, so moving onto a bunk lays you prone but not stunned. Crawl out and enjoy your day. 
Standing / flipping in a bunk bed bonks your head. 
Click-drag yourself or others to the bed to get on the top bunk. 
While on the top bunk, click the bed to dismount 
Leaving the top bunk without dismounting stuns and does a little brute. Didn't your mother teach you anything? 
Click the bunk with harm intent to shake someone off the top!

Don't know how easy this would be to add but as my great great grandmother used to say:
