Spear shaft affects stamina damage
#1
Recently, I learned that the shaft of a spear has no effect. Now, having it affect the direct damage would make spears a little overpowered, so instead, how about making it affect stamina damage?

It makes sense. A more solid spear would have better capability to knock your breath out of you and/or knock you down.

If you have a better idea, feel free to post it.

Maybe the shafts could become damaged over time and shaft quality makes that take longer

Or maybe it effects damage done when thrown vs melee

Or maybe increase spear damage, but have it drop off at range, and a better shaft would reduce the drop-off.

Also idea: be able to 2-hand wield a spear(if not make it mandatory) to add more brute and/or stamina damage.

Hmm.

This could be useful for making a non-lethal riot-spear, maximizing stamina damage and minimizing brute and cutting damage.
