Trivial Depth Shadows setting is ignored each new round

Title: For example, even if I have the depth shadows set to "off", when a new round loads, it will automatically be on; so I will have to set it to "on" to be able to turn it off.

This is at most a minor inconvenience though, so Trivial is about as severe as it gets.
