R Goggles:
5 Telecrystal Mechanic Traitor Item
Like VR Goggles, but creates a virtual you... In the real world! Real-Virtual You can then be used for hours upon hours of limitless entertainment! Until, that is, the AI tracks REAL you and a mob beats real you to death. As well, it immediately gives away who the traitor is. Also, prying the goggles off virtual you forces you back into real you, creating an easy response for someone with stunning weaponry. They would, however, provide flash resistance, so it'll take at least a taser/baton/brute force to take you down.

Perhaps a range mechanic could be added.
The VR player has to stay a certain number of squares close to the player to exist.
In addition require they be charged once and a while. someone who's effectively hiding in a locker will have to run out to charge their glasses, and within that time frame be potentially caught. Not to mention they'll always have to be close by.

That's why I added the thing about taking the glasses off stopping them.
As an alternative to the range thing: The Virual You spawns within, say, ten tiles of you. Unless you bring a ton of spare space-suits, using them off of the station is really inefficient.

Just make it so that it only works in areas of the station that are powered because it draws on the station's power to project the hologram. And make it so you have to buckle yourself into a chair because otherwise real you will be running around slamming into walls.

sawn-off shotgun (gun gun GUNNNS)
* only holds 2 rounds at a time
* fires 2 pellets adjacent to each other per shot. the 2nd pellet is displaced by 1 tile from the original. maybe each pellet could be 1/2 or 3/4 the damage of a regular shotgun bullet but still keeps the stun & knockback effect. simulates a wider spread-- great for nailing those pesky overcaffeinated folks weaving every which way!
* optional dual-fire mode: click on the gun while in hand to toggle. dual-fire expends both shells in one shot but launches 3 pellets at once for a brutal wall of death
* fits into a backpack
* makes a really obnoxiously loud bang
* uses the sprite that this rad dude made: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11

Can a traitor's PDA be ignored by pda bombs? It's god damn aggravating when you lose your traitor PDA to some jerk with ten Detomatrix cartridges.

That'd be one heck of a wait to ping another traitor. "A subspace interference prevents you from detonating this PDA!"

Or how about simply not have them be imported by MISSILE as if their send/recieve messages was turned off? It'd still be obvious who the traitors are if you compare your messenger list to your MISSILE list, but that would take a lot more effort to do.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can turn off send/recieve and still use your telecrystals, right?

Mobster's attire: 10 points.
Comes with fedora, suit, polished shoes, a tommy gun (reskinned AK or whatever) and a pack of 3 cigars.
As long as you have the full suit, and lit cigar, the gun's ammo would be replenished, and you would slowly (SLOWLY) recover from some forms of damage. Would be really obvious, deadly, and whatnot.

Compare that to the 7-crystal Bowler Suit, man. You get a machine gun that has infinite ammo while you wear it and health regeneration? Fuck that shit.
Maybe just give it the ability to store your Tommy gun in your suit itself, allowing you to draw it from your coat with a *grin emote.

Janitor item: Non-slip shoes - 1 crystal
basically the same as the galoshes, but you don't slip even on Space Lube

Because otherwise janitors will be beaten to death if they're seen in regular shoes. Also they should work like magboots, to prevent slipping in space.

Yeah, the regeneration/ammo thing would probably be shitty. The cigs would need to be in your mouth for the suit to be complete though, and spout generic mob lines.
