Minor Loaves dissapear? maybe?

I was trying to make some big loaves, got some neutron & degenerates, put them back in, let it run a while, and after a while it just stopped. Opened the pipe, nothing. 
I don't actually know for certain if this is a feature or a bug.

not a bug, this is called critical loaf mass, or loaf overflow
