Minor Gold items created from 'Midas Touch' mutation don't sell like gold.
#1
If you gain the midas touch mutation, turn an item into gold, then you can use it in the materials processor it makes a gold bar. If you sell these gold bars on the market then the price they sell for is the same as the original non gold item rather than what gold bars would normally sell for.  It would be nice and add a bit of geneticist/QM synergy if they actually sold like real gold bars.

I think this is intentional, Midas Touch gold doesn't count as "real" gold.

AH, I wasn't sure. I couldn't find anything about it in the wiki or forums :/ I just figured since it allowed them to be turned to gold bars they should sell like em. Maybe if it had the material processor dump out something different or give a beep or something.

proposal: have the processor dump out gibs and meat

it's a metaphor i think

I think it was made to prevent a QM with midas touch to become rich forever.

I think it's the same way with gold from mining?

Can confirm. Supposedly because of duplication bugs.
