Reinforce the test chamber some more so it can withstand TTBs and cannister bombs
#1
So, I decided just now to try to make a TTB, since I've never made a successful one before. Unfortunately, I'll never know if my bomb would have worked or not, because when I tried to test it in the test chamber, an admin disabled it and grumped at me, then told me the test chamber can't actually contain the force of bombs.

Which makes it kind of useless for it's intended purpose.

Also make empty gas tanks craftable, please. We can make the big ones, why not the little ones?

Why not just test bombs on the debris Zlevel. You can blow rocks apart all day everyday and no admin will care. I imagine you could probably even accidentally blow up one of the debris buildings and maybe even get a jokey centcom announcement out of it.

I think research has a remote base on the main zlevel that's supposed to be blown up on purpose but I can't actually confirm that. That might just be Cogmap 2.

I wouldn't recommend testing bombs on the research station. TTVs, sure, but not canbombs, those tend to total, like, half the map and'll surely leak into the actual station. Plus, Cog2 has that neato TTV VR thing that I've been told works well enough, despite it never working for me because I've never made a working TTV bomb.

Now, one of those in-station bomb testing ranges like I've heard of in TG servers, ones where you plug in the bomb and it blows up, but instead of damaging anything, one of the computers spits out a bunch of numbers to tell you how cool the blast was, that would be neato.

Hm? Doesn't cog1 have bomb vr? I forget. Anyways, that worked fine. Of course I always used the derelict z to test my bombs.
