I gotta agree with Sundance on the problem being the protection muffs give, probably Sec glasses and other eye protection too.

OKay so about the whole new sec making a mistake and using a flashbang in hand thing. Yeah its an accident and part of learning but think of this. If they accidentally use it in hand and their arm get BLASTED OFF I think they will remember not to do that again. Its a good teaching mechanism in my mind.

re-reading the thread i definitely agree with adjacent flashbangs penetrating resistances - it would also give the grenade launcher some utility against folks running with super heavy getups.
