Imagine being the nerd who has to sort out who hasn't been switched and who has in order to put everyone back in their bodies.

At that point I feel like it would be easier to make the mutation require both swapees hold still, and then click the both of them in procession.

You could also get a few crewmen to convince you to brain swap them with monkeys or critters.

Wizards need more confusing round-chaos-inducing shenanigans that don't kill.

I like this, creates confusion as to who the real wizard is! I'd also make the wiz'd crewman randomly cast spells so they'll have a harder time convincing the crew not to murder them. Like cluwning someone, but the crew might actually do something other than pity and help them.
