The State of Vampires on RP

blood donor drives were so common and obvious, I'm totally for their removal and destruction and burning.

being outed as a vampire is such an issue too. their standoffish abilities just make them a shitter changeling with no outs when they're caught. Find suitable target. click with The Stun Button. sit over their stunned body for a bit. they are dead.

I'd rather that vampires gain some ability to more easily hit and run in the maints. Make cloak of darkness work differently for them so they can hide their clothing/equipment in the dark. Make it so bite starts off less murder-y, but less likely to just give up your identity. etc. etc.

Maybe if Vampires have something like a "VAMPIRE" form to be unknown in that form but still obviously a vampire, but then can slip back into their normal Staffy McGreyson form would be fun. This way you know there is a vampire... wich in that form is yes stronger and drinks more aggresively, but atleast when they are caught they can easily dissappear and reassume form, putting people in high alert. I know it sounds like a changeling thing...but if the vampire has to be loud.
Might as well give them a form that is loud and obsecures their form.
I can't imagine vampires constantly having to grab stuff to disguise themselves to hunt.

But the real reason I suggest it is simple. Vampires have been known to use illussions from time to time.. so I do not see why not they can just have an illussion of some sort or another form.

I had a talk with a friend recently and an idea we came up with is Vampires starting with X-ray vision. Let them drain blood from behind walls, or skulk people in different departments and see who is alone.

Another idea might be letting people who are stunned AND hypnotized give more blood when drained. I've been told that your first kill only gives around 120 blood and its not a lot for anything. I'm also not sure if mutant races have different blood levels - if a Roach gives less blood than a human.

Honestly I had the same thought about tier I vampire x-ray vision. Admittedly mostly from an RP position of "it's very fun to send people PDA messages while watching in the walls" but it would definitely up their ability to pick their battles and moments.

additionally, vampires do not appear on cams if in darkness (cannot capture a vampires image blah blah). This also extends to polaroid cameras in dark areas, giving a blank polaroid.
